WRITE IT BEHIND YOUR EAR is a solo exhibition by Adam Elezrah, featuring a site-specific installation created specifically for the space at FORTUNA Kino der Jugend.
“I grew up in a home where superstitions were part of everyday life… objects meant to protect me from the evil eye accompanied me whenever I left the house.”
Starting from these personal talismans, the exhibition traces processes of emptying and reactivating objects and their meanings.
The binder, a central figure in the exhibition shifts between archive and body, order and belief.
FORTUNA’s theatrical space is reconfigured into an installation where objects lose their function and take on new meanings.
